Community Connections partners with The First Tee of Central Arkansas to provide a golf program for children ages 7-17 with special needs. The purpose of the golf program is to teach our kids the game of golf in a positive, encouraging environment. The golfers spend time each day in the classroom learning the rules and etiquette of golf then take their skills onto the course to put the learning into action. All of our golfers are taught by the instructors at The First Tee and assisted by the Community Connections staff. The First Tee charges a nominal fee for the instructors and equipment but gives a generous discount to all Community Connections kids.
Camp will be offered on the following dates at the First Tee in Little Rock:
Friday, June 5: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Friday, June 12: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Friday, June 26: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Friday, July 3: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Friday, July 10: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Friday, July 17: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Friday, July 24: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Friday, July 31: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
