Community Connections Music is a ten week program that seeks to promote the growth and love of music in children with special needs. We provide 30 minute one on one interactions/lessons, once a week. This time together is used to:
1. Teach basic aspects of general music.
2. Promote a love of music.
3. Delve into a certain area of interest (guitar, piano, composition, theory, etc).
4. Build a genuine comprehension of music, furthering one’s ability to pursue any aspect of music.
We promote that music is unique and beneficial to everyone- regardless of age, personality, mental ability, or musical ability. We are able to provide a specific learning environment for you child, a unique experience for their unique needs, while still providing the highest standard of music education available.
We are piloting this new format for Music this spring which will entail 2-on-1 or 1-on-1 lessons with our program director, John Williams. These piloted lessons will be on a first come first serve basis based on online registration.
Conway lessons will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Tuesdays from 3:30-7:30 p.m. starting February 23.
Little Rock lessons will be held at Pediatrics Plus on Thursdays from 3:30-7:30 p.m. starting February 25.
We will also host a spring music clinic for children 3 & up in Little Rock & Conway (dates TBD) to expose kids to the benefits to music in their daily lives!
