The Rivals United Flag Football League was started by a group of committed football fans who wanted to ensure all children, including kids with disabilities, would have the opportunity to play the game. Alongside Life Champs, a football program for typically functioning kids ages 5-17, children involved in RUFL practice drills and play games on Monday nights in the Fall.
Each child playing RUFL gets a chance to play quarterback, kicker, offense, and defense. The program is designed to ensure each child experiences success and being part of a team. RUFL is run by coaches and volunteers who encourage and assist the players. Kids receive official Nike jerseys for being part of a RUFL team.
The RUFL Football Summer Camp is an opportunity for your child, ages 7-17, to learn more detailed fundamentals of football, interact and work within a team, and have fun. The dates for this years camp will be July 10-12 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The camp will be held at the UCA Pepsi Center in Conway. The kids will participate in drills, learning exercises, and enjoy a guest speaker everyday of the camp. Community Connections does charge a $40 camp fee but assistance is available if needed. If you have any questions about the camp please contact Derek Moser at derek_moser@pedsplustherapy.com.
