Cheerleading
The Community Connections Cheerleading Program in Sherwood gives children with special needs an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of cheering on a squad with their peers, promoting teamwork, building social skills, and highlighting their individual abilities. The kids will learn skills such as chants, cheers, and jumps with basic stunting skills.

Conway Showstoppers Cheerleading
The Conway Showstoppers Cheerleading Program is a NEW program offering TWO different tracks: LOCAL and/or COMPETITIVE*. Click on the link below to register & select which track your child is interested in participating in.
*Community Connections will be using guidelines with Cheer Abilities for the Competitive Track. Participation in the Competitive Track could include traveling to various cities across central Arkansas for local & regional competitions.

Dance
Community Connections is partnering with Melissa Schoenfeld from Western Arkansas Ballet to bring you a program designed for children with special needs and their families. Children, ages 5-18, and their buddies will learn a dance over an 11 week period and perform at a recital to showcase their skills and hard work. This program will provide kids the opportunity to be a part of an inclusive dance program while building lasting relationships and skills.
